The water lily hat is in the setting sun.§ The Corydon pulling
the carabao, is about to return home in the setting sun. What
a good China garden city scene! It＊s just sunset when I arrived
in Xiamen Tong An from Fuzhou through Pu Tian and Quanzhou.
I have sketched a lot and taken quiet a few photos of rapeseed
flower fields on the way. I would like to find a typical village
of South Guangdong to match the pealike aftergrow. Once I entered
Li Chun, I saw this alluring scene. In the distance in the red
and yellow rapeseed fields, there is smoke from kitchen chimneys,
and the Corydon is about to return the snug home. Oh! I can
just use the famous poem written by the poet of Tang Dynasty
Liu Chang Qing.

The people Qiang, Xiong Nu and Xian Bei all live in this land.
At the foot of Qi Lian Mountains, besides unending natural grasslands
there are amazing ridges, snowy glaciers and rivers. The rapeseed
flowers in Men Yuan are brilliant and brimless, but the period
of bloom is very short. The beautiful scenes are always written
in water. In Men Yuan, the hotpot with rapeseed oil called※You
La Zi§is really delicious.

Anima appears girl＊s shyness from her amaranthine jowl. The
strong sunshine is reflected on her golden teeth. She has lived
beside the Blue Lake for over 16 years. She likes to think near
this blue lake, and considers it the most beautiful place in
the world. Yes, Anima, you are right. The fields are green,
the colorful wild flowers bloom, and the golden carpet spreads
around the lake. The white butterflies and golden bees fly among
them. Yes, Anima, you are right.

The wind blows the white clouds. On the Kerl Highland beside
the Atlantic, rapeseed flowers are standing. The Ireland farmers
are digging and cropping. It＊s just the time.
Visa is not easy. While on the train from Dublin to Kerl, I
talked happily with a beautiful girl with blond hair. She said
she also like the art of oil painting and could led me to sketch,
and also knew where to find the rapeseeds. These two days are
the happy and lucky days for me.

The song of Liu De Hua encourages youth to go forward. One year,
I came to the Duo Yi River, located at the boundary of Yun Nan
and Guang Xi. In the bright sunshine, hearing the dogs＊ barking,
I gladly painted down the little girl.
In Qu Jin Luo Pin, there were lots of scenic spots, boating
in Duo Yi river, looking Jiu Long falls, Cow Street, Horse Street,
Enjoying flowers in Jin Ji, Exploring Shi Wan mountains, and
so on. The famous traveler, Xu Xia Ke of Ming Dynasty, used
to come here.
I wish the villager of Duo Yi village could have a brighter
future.

Thanks to strict teaching, I still can remember the poem written
by the poet Yang Wan Li of Song Dynasty, ※Sunshine and rain
make the road dry and wet, the superposition of the mountains
make them half dense and half light.§ I painted this scene made
by the sunshine and the rain after my trip to Guangxi Bai Se
area. There is morning brume, wind in the mountains, smoke.
The trees are waving in the fog and the rapeseed flower fields
are sometimes visible and are sometimes concealed.
The superposed far mountains appear half dense and half light.
I finally understand that the study is very important, which
can help you to enhance your frame of mind.

Oklahoma city locates at the south side of Arkansas River, which
is one branch of Mississippi River. The hypsography there is
flat and have enough water. It＊s the important agriculture center
in the middle of United States. During my exercitation in the
factory of Van Heusen in Oklahoma, I often walked in the field.
The local residents were used to eat rapeseed flowers. I think
about my holiday in Hawaii Wakik with my family, fresh flowers
over 20 kinds are served on the breakfast in Queen Hotel.

I went to visit one of my friends in the countryside
of Zhangzhou. I noticed there were three small cocks besides
rapeseed flowers looking at me. I painted them, so immortalizing
them. The number ※three§ is the cardinal number Chinese most
like to use. ※Three§ means ＆many, abundant＊. I like the number
※thirteen§. We should be magnanimous and respect nature and
other people.

That year, I went to Hua Dong Valley again. In the rapeseed
flower field, I met a little girl A Mei, who curveted with her
parents. She picked a rapeseed flower and sent it to me. I took
a photo with them, and promised to mail it to her. In the early
Spring, on the hill of Fu Li, you can enjoy the scene of the
whole Hua Dong Valley. The fields of golden rapeseed flowers
there are a feast for the eyes.

Edmonton is the capital of Alberta, located on the south campo,
where is the barn of Canada. Rice, wheat and rapeseed flower
are cropped in different season.. Looking at the rapeseed flower
fields, E.T. will think they arrive in a yellow star. The farmers
here mostly use environmental fertilizer. Because of the discovery
of petroleum and natural gas, the agriculture becomes unimportant.
We should adjust measures to local conditions. I hope that those
gold rapeseed flowers won＊t disappear.

Crossing mountains, after driving 300 kilometers from Kunming,
just behind that hill, I suddenly found them. I braked, got
out of the van, and started to paint. It seemed like the living
places of supernatural beings. It's really beautiful. I chased
the blooming rapeseed flowers, visiting Italy, Spain, France,
Greece, England, Ireland, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Japan, Korea,
Mongolia, Russia, Denmark, United States, Canada, and so on,
and of course the Huadong valley along the coast of the Pacific
Ocean. In the land of great China, there is so beautiful golden
headspring like Luo Pin.

I came to Taidong Guan Shan, where the rapeseed flowers were
rare ripe. It's all golden in February. Along the bikeway, I
saw one of my old friends together with his child helping the
farmers to harvest. It's really a wonderful picture under the
white clouds and blue sky.
It's not lonely during Spring festival season in Tai Dong area.
Each December, rapeseed flowers are planted. In the season of
foison, the following January and February, there are ceremonies
to celebrate foison in each village and town. The villagers
are plain, hospitable and courteous.

White waves were beating the coast. Far in the Pacific Ocean,
Gui Shan Island gleamed, and the sea mews are doing the last
flight of today before going home. Together with Nancy and Andy,
we are standing on the shore looking at the dark clouds moving
nearer from the horizon. We worried about these delicate rapeseed
flowers, how could they experience such a storm? For thousands
of years, all people, things, and lands have experienced the
test of storms, a form of natural selection. I would like to
paint this moment happily. If you are moved by any scene or
people, please just e-mail it to me, and I will paint it for

She is picking tea-leaves, to pick out the broken tea-leaves
and deadwood. Beside her, there is a tub of Du Juan flowers
picked that morning, dazzling red. One yuan each. The golden
rapeseed flowers on the desk are five jiao (50 cents) a bunch.
People can use them to make anadems.
The girl provides me the beautiful flowers, and I bring back
a bag of spring tea.

Coming to Luo Pin again, I was so surprised to see the four
hundred thousand mu rapeseed flower fields of three dimensions.
I promised to myself to return here again after retirement at
the age of 60, to paint the wonderful land of Luo Pin and those
beautiful girls of Bu Yi nationality.
Yang Xiao Ya (Yang Juan) and Chen Xiao Ya (Chen Lei) accompanied
me walking in the fields and climbing the hills. They posed
for me to paint. Thanks for your support.
The rapeseed flower field might be the most abundant fields
of all the places in the world I have been. Kester landform,
laterite, laborious villagers brings up the new scene beside
the mountains. My daughter, if you come here, you will like
it here.

I set eyes on the rapeseed flowers after climbing up the peak
of Lion Mountain near Jiu Long Fall of Luo Pin. It's so exciting
to present the blocks of golden rapeseed flowers on the oil
painting canvas. I tried to use the expression brushwork to
paint out the different golden colors, the green trees and this
great view to share with you.
I traveled through the world, but the rapeseed flower fields
here are the most abundant.

It's so great for villagers of Hao Zhan to stand on Kaster hill
to see the large rapeseed flower field of over 400 thousand
mu, which can create Genesis record. I mixed the yellow colors
on my palette. I painted fifty kinds of yellow colors on the
canvas, but still can not express all its effulgence.
The villagers in Luo Pin makes golden rapeseed flowers to gold.

After rain, the grass is green, and the countryside scenery
is charming. It is said by Han Yu's poem that, "Spring is the
best season of the year, it's rainy in the capital." Capital
is just as "Yellow City". The golden rapeseed flowers are all
over the mountains and plains, which is just like the palace
of common countrymen. I seriously came to this holy land, enjoy
the beautiful scene given by God. I do wish that Spring comes
here every year, peace and health.

The brook purled, and last night the red lanterns were hung
in front of the windows. I woke up and saw the golden rapeseed
flowers all the mountains. The old woman had risen with the
lark, and had started to work near the bank. I took the easel,
and hurried to the opposite bank and painted this poetic picture.
The old town with a thousand years of history has a special
lingering charm. The old tree has seen eras of life's vicissitudes.
That year, I drove over two thousand kilometers, from Si Gu
Niang Mountains through Chengdu in Sichuan back to Chongqing.
On the way, I passed through this small town, and stayed a night.
